A sad song

I was there with a behemoth,
with adoration in my thorny palm
like a beast,
it kissed away my zest
and left me cold.
Left me falling,
left me wrecked.
There I was with an angel,
an innocence within the power
The gleam and glitter
Of curves of death
And symphony of life,
It left me singing
A sad song.

  1. Leaning beside your Headstone
I was there to take you to my home
    You called me behemoth!!
I kissed; you could understand how love feels.
But you named yourself cold, fallen, wretched
I was no more from Heaven.

Your conscience saw my beauty when I turned to an angel
    Face glimmered, muscle unwind,
No anxiety to let yourself go
Then you sung the symphony of life,
    Yourself a lullaby.
I was really sad; you knew it was a sad song.
